Betterburn V certainly gives a higher temperature in the Aga, and we have been able to turn down the controls slightly.
There is also a second benefit, we used to have the Aga serviced every 6 months. The last service was in March and the fitter who carried out the service commented that the burner was clean and we could lengthen the period between servicing. We have arranged to increase the period to 8 months before the next service, and review then whether the period between services can be further increased.
